Conference Introduction

The 7th China International Turbomachinery Conference (CITC 2026), initiated by the China International Turbomachinery Industry Alliance (CITA) and organized by Shenyang Blower Works Research Institute (Co., Ltd.), will be held from September 18 to 21, 2026 in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China.

Under the theme “Intelligent Drive, Green Empowerment,” CITC 2026 aims to bring together global expertise to address the technical challenges facing the turbomachinery industry in the era of energy transition, build consensus on industrial development, and accelerate the translation of technological innovations into industrial applications. 

The conference will feature a plenary session, industry plenary, academic plenary, invited special sessions, tutorials, and 12 parallel sub-forums. The program will combine invited lectures, oral presentations, poster presentations, and tutorials, covering a wide range of cutting-edge technologies in the field of turbomachinery. In parallel, an exhibition and a job fair will also be held.

Since its inception in 2013, CITC has been successfully held six times: CITC 2013 in Yantai, CITC 2015 in Chengdu, CITC 2018 in Chongqing, CITC 2020 in Nanchang, CITC 2022 in Kunming, and CITC 2024 in Sanya. Over the past twelve years, the conference has attracted over 3,000 participants, featured nearly 1,500 papers, and hosted more than 200 exhibitors. CITC has established itself as a flagship conference series that is internationally recognized within China’s turbomachinery community.
